Nourish the spirit, honour the soul
Saturday 14th March 10am -1pm at Yoga Torquay
Sunday 10th May 1pm - 4pm at Lous Loft Exeter
Early Bird £25 | Full Price £30 (Book by 10th April for Early Bird)
This workshop offers the space to connect with the sprit and soul through nourishing and restful practices. By exploring gentle but energising postures, pranayama and mantra, we will encourage the prana to move through the psychic centres of the body. This journey through the chakras will prepare us to open up to deeper meditation. There will be time for rejuvenating self-massage to close the morning.
Isvara pranidana is the intention that guides this practice; by surrendering to the divinity flowing through all life we are inviting a deep sense of connection and bliss. I will weave readings from the Radiance Sutras through the workshop, as sacred portals to the song of the divine. At the same time we will be honouring the spirit and energies of nature by connecting with the great earth mother and the higher self. This uplifting yet deeply grounding practice allows you to contact your sangkalpa, the heart’s truest desire, and in doing so, releasing habitual beliefs that no longer serve your highest purpose.
18th April 2pm-5pm & 15th August 10am - 1pm @ Lotus Loft, Exeter
Early Bird £25 | Full Price £30 (Book by 18th March for Early Bird)
Delicious yoga, deep rest and calming breathing coupled with natural parenting discussions, a beautiful space for mum's to be.
These workshops offer discussion around traditional cultural parenting practices alongside deep rest and heart based meditations to cultivate a trust in your inner knowing. I have heard many new mum's so unsure about what to do with their newborn, anxious and confused about conflicting advice and tempted by the security of a more rigid approach. I truly believe that you and your baby, through your deep connection, have all the answers and the tools you need. All you have to do is listen and trust, how wonderful!
Topics discussed will include:
The fourth trimester
The transition to motherhood / The transition to the world
The importance of skin to skin
Going nappy free
There will be nourishing snacks and you will take away a free booklet with local and online resources for support and you will be invited to form an online support group because there's nothing like peer support when you are a new mum.
Half-day retreat and lunch
Saturday 13th June 10am - 3pm
Early Bird £45 | Full Price £50 (Book by 13th May to receive Early Bird)
Held in an enchanting private garden on Dartmoor 20 minutes from Exeter
Come to ancient Dartmoor and re-connect with your wild inner nature as we feel the earth beneath our feet, meditate with the wisdom of the trees and breathe the fresh moor air. As we approach the summer solstice we will be encouraged to embrace our ancient nature and align ourselves with the resplendent power of the full sun.
On this half day retreat we will explore a liberating yoga practice and deeply restful yin practice; periods of silent walking meditation and individual sitting meditation in the woodland. A ceremonial aspect is woven through the practice to connect with the deep wisdom within and celebrate everything which is luminous and radiant about us, our fullest sense of self. We will share a fresh seasonal lunch grown on the land and finish with a fire ceremony.
Places are limited so please do book early if you wish to come along.
